Meteor was the first technology stack I got good at and was fundamental in my development as a programmer.
As time went on, I began to see it’s biggest strength as it’s biggest weakness. The fact it’s so integrated and 'automagic' is awesome until you want to start exchanging pieces which most companies I know e.g. Bitwala, Flowkey do after they grow past MVP stage.
Meteor launched at the perfect time, when the ecosystem was so fragmented and confused.
